Bienestar T&N and Cannabizta B.V. sign a collaboration agreement on pushing forward with the development of comprehensive medical cannabis industry to promote Thailand as Asia’s first production base for pharmaceutical-grade cannabis products
Bienestar T&N Co., Ltd., Thailand’s leading cannabis cultivator and manufacturer of medical cannabis, announced collaborative partnership with Cannabizta B.V. (Medical Cannabis Turnkey Solution), together with the Netherlands’ leading business partners including Bosman Van Zaal B.V. (International Expert in the Development, Production, and Installation of Turnkey Automated Horticulture Projects), Delphy B.V. (Worldwide Expertise For Food and Flowers), and Paradise Seeds B.V. (Worldwide Medical Cannabis Genetics) for the increase of manufacturing production capacity and the integrated development of cannabis strains for Thailand to become an epicentre for medical cannabis industry in Asia. Held in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, the contract signing ceremony was witnessed by Mr.Chatri Atchananan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Thailand to the Kingdom of the Netherlands and Dr.Somsak Akksilp, Director-General of Department of Medical Services, along with a team of top executives.
Mr.Nipon Pankiatpaisan, Chief Executive Officer of Bienestar T&N Co., Ltd., revealed that this collaborative partnership is the initiation of the development of pharmaceutical-grade cannabis cultivation which is the only one in Thailand and the first time in Asia. The development takes advantage of Thailand’s ideal location with globally praised favourable conditions for cannabis growing and brings together the body of knowledge, innovation, and technology from the Netherlands which make the country the world’s leader in medical cannabis industry.
“This collaboration begins with the selection of top-quality seeds from Paradise Seeds, the world’s largest cannabis seed bank and the world’s highest quality medical cannabis seeds, which will efficiently be used in the pharmaceutical industry and respond to the needs for specific treatment. The production makes use of the automated agricultural system which utilises logistics and robotics developed for industrial cultivation at the highest level of international standard to bring the cannabis into use in the healthcare, food, and beverage industry. The cannabis is grown with the technique of environmentally friendly vertical farming which allows for conservation in space and is water- and energy-saving whereby Data and Business Intelligence innovated by Bosman Van Zaal in which air, moisture, and plant watering system can be controlled to produce the highest crop yield is also incorporated in the production in Thailand. In addition, Mechanization Automation and ICT, a remote farm management system developed by Delphy, is employed to ensure maximum yield with world-class quality” concluded Mr.Nipon Pankiatpaisan.
