Bangkok, November 12th, 2025 Sanofi Thailand has received the “Corporate Social Impact Award 2025 – Gold level” for the 6th consecutive year from the American Chamber of Commerce in Thailand (AmCham Thailand), reinforcing its commitment to conducting business with social and community responsibility. The award recognizes Sanofi’s ongoing efforts to enhance Thai society’s well-being and promote sustainability. Mr. Charles Trolliet, Head of Commercial Thailand, Pharma Business, and Ms. Wansiri Chuenjitkuntaworn, Head of Operations Thailand, Vaccines Business, proudly accepted the award at a ceremony held recently at Nikko Hotel.

As an R&D driven, AI-powered biopharma company, Sanofi applies its deep understanding of the immune system to develop medicines and vaccines that protect millions worldwide, with an innovative pipeline poised to benefit millions more.

Mr. Eric Mansion, General Manager, Pharma Business of South-East Asia & India (SEA&I) and Multi-Country Organization (MCO) Lead, says, “We are proud of this recognition at the local level, which contributes to our global achievements. Sanofi has been recently ranked the World’s 10th Most Sustainable Company and #1 in the Pharma & Biotech industries on TIME’s 2025 list of the World’s 500 Most Sustainable Companies. In the rapidly growing SEA&I region, home to over 2 billion people, we are committed to addressing the impact of environmental challenges on health and healthcare. Our commitment extends beyond innovative medicines to improving healthcare access and reducing our environmental footprint.”

Mr. Charles Trolliet, who drives social impact projects in Thailand, comments, “Sanofi Thailand not only provides patients with equal access to innovative treatments but has also expanded two flagship initiatives in 2025:

  • The Sanofi Planet Care Upcycling Program has gained traction from 6 hospitals in the pilot phase to now 8 Hospitals in just a year! This innovative approach transforms used insulin pens into plastic storage boxes for schools and hospitals across Thailand. The circular economy initiative addresses climate change while providing practical resources to communities.
  • The Kids & Diabetes in Schools (KiDS) program expanded to Rayong province in collaboration with local health authorities, reaching an additional 150 students through the efforts of 70 Sanofi volunteers. This program raises awareness about diabetes among youth while encouraging healthier lifestyle choices through nutrition, exercise, and adequate rest.”

Ms. Wansiri Chuenjitkuntaworn adds, “This sixth consecutive award reinforces our commitment to scientific innovation that transforms lives. In 2025, we’ve made significant strides in disease prevention, particularly for vulnerable populations. Through innovative solutions such as RSV protection for newborns and influenza vaccines for the elderly and chronically ill, we’re preventing avoidable diseases and their complications. Our awareness campaigns have educated communities about the value of life-course immunization and preventive healthcare. These initiatives, combined with our efforts to promote health literacy, demonstrate our holistic approach to improving health and well-being across Thailand.”

Receiving the AmCham Corporate Social Impact Award for the sixth consecutive year reaffirms Sanofi’s purpose: “We Chase the Miracles of Science to Improve People’s Lives.” In 2025, Sanofi Thailand’s initiatives have made tangible differences by transforming medical waste into useful resources, empowering students with diabetes knowledge, and protecting vulnerable populations through innovative vaccines.

These impacts reflect Sanofi Thailand’s dedication to creating healthier communities and a more sustainable Thailand, demonstrating how science and community engagement can drive meaningful change beyond traditional healthcare.
