Amazing Thailand Passport Privileges 2025 launches with expanded travel rewards for international visitors
TAT drives the government’s Big Impact, Act Fast policy with a campaign offering exclusive discounts, gifts, and experiences to boost travel spending and enhance Thailand’s image as a tourism hub
Bangkok, 17 October 2025 – The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), under the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, together with key partners from the public and private sectors, today launched the Amazing Thailand Passport Privileges 2025 campaign. The initiative offers exclusive discounts, special privileges, and memorable souvenirs for international visitors, aligning with the government’s Big Impact, Act Fast policy to stimulate travel spending during the year-end high season and reinforce Thailand’s position as a leading tourism hub.
The official launch was presided over by Mr. Nat Kruthasoot, TAT Deputy Governor for Tourism Products and Business joined by Mr. Bhummikitti Ruktaengam, Vice President of the Tourism Council of Thailand, and Mrs. Paninee Chaisrakeo, Vice President Landside Operations Department Suvarnabhumi Airport, a representative from the Airports of Thailand Public Company Limited (AOT). Also in attendance were international travellers and influencers who shared their experiences exploring Thailand.
Mr. Nat Kruthasoot, TAT Deputy Governor for Tourism Products and Business, said TAT continues to accelerate tourism promotion measures in line with the government’s priorities. The Amazing Thailand Passport Privileges 2025 campaign is part of our efforts to stimulate travel and spending among international visitors, ensuring that the tourism sector’s recovery stays on track towards the set targets, particularly in the final quarter of 2025, which marks Thailand’s high travel season.
Building on the success of its first edition, the Amazing Thailand Passport Privileges 2025 campaign runs from November to December, aligning with the Amazing Thailand Grand Tourism and Sports Year 2025. The programme reflects the concept of 5 Grands – Grand Moment, Grand Privilege, Grand Invitation, Grand Festivity, and Grand Celebration – promoting a wide range of travel products and services connected to Thailand’s signature 5 Must Do experiences: Must Taste Thai cuisine, Must Try Muay Thai, Must Buy Thai fashion and textiles, Must Seek new destinations and stories, and Must See cultural performances and festivals.
This year’s campaign introduces two highlight activities that reflect TAT’s commitment to enriching the visitor experience through creative promotions that combine travel privileges with local craftsmanship, inspiring deeper cultural connections while driving wider economic benefits for Thailand’s tourism industry.
The first is a nationwide sales promotion offering discounts and privileges from over 300 leading businesses across Thailand, including hotels, restaurants, and tourism operators, to stimulate spending and strengthen economic circulation within the tourism sector. The second is the “Amazing Bag” lucky gift initiative, designed to leave lasting impressions on international visitors. Inspired by the “5 Must Do in Thailand”, each Amazing Bag features community-made souvenirs and a chance to win travel vouchers worth over 1,000,000 Baht.
Visitors can present their passports to receive an Amazing Bag at Suvarnabhumi,
Don Mueang and Phuket International Airports from 1 November to 15 December 2025. Supported by the Airports of Thailand (AOT) for the second consecutive year, the initiative includes dedicated spaces for souvenir distribution at the three airports. The collaboration is expected to enhance the visitor experience, attract more international travellers, and encourage repeat visits to Thailand.
Mr. Bhummikitti Ruktaengam, Vice President of the Tourism Council of Thailand, said the campaign has gained strong nationwide support, with tourism operators joining to offer special discounts and privileges. “This reflects the industry’s unity in promoting Thai hospitality and showcasing local products and services to the world,” he said.
TAT expects the Amazing Thailand Passport Privileges 2025 campaign to generate at least 400 million Baht in tourism revenue, thereby strengthening Thailand’s tourism economy, expanding income distribution across sectors, and reinforcing the nation’s image as the regional tourism hub.
In line with the government’s Big Impact, Act Fast policy, the Ministry of Tourism and Sports is implementing an ambitious four-month plan to intensify overseas promotion in seven priority markets – China, Japan, South Korea, India, and the Middle East, including Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates – with a particular focus on welcoming 2–3 million Chinese visitors by year-end. The Ministry is also fostering nationwide collaboration among government agencies, tourism operators, and local communities to ensure warm hospitality and seamless travel experiences during Thailand’s high season, including coordinated preparations for the 33rd SEA Games in December 2025.
